Integral Fitness & Leisure Rules and Regulations
Member Access and Use of the App
Members must use the approved biometric access system or entry code each time they visit an Integral Fitness & Leisure club.
To download and install the app, visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your iOS or Android device and search for YourApp Plus. Select “Download” or “Install” to add the app to your device.
Member access and use of the facilities may be monitored by CCTV to help ensure the safety and security of our members, staff and premises.
The app is solely for the use of the member registered with the relevant club. It must also be used to make bookings where required.
A member must not allow another person to use their app, access code or membership credentials. Misuse of membership access may result in the suspension or termination of membership.
Gym Inductions and Health Screening
When joining, all members are offered a free gym induction explaining how to use the equipment safely.
Members are strongly advised to attend a Gym Introduction session before using the gym equipment.
Before attending an induction or using gym equipment for the first time, members must complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire, or PAR-Q, and any required health and medical screening documentation. This may be completed online or through reception.
All members are encouraged to attend an equipment induction. Experienced gym users may decide, at their own discretion, not to attend an induction.
Gym Introduction sessions may be booked through reception.
Anyone who is unsure how to use a piece of equipment must seek advice from a suitably qualified member of Integral Fitness & Leisure staff before using it.
Members must use all equipment correctly, follow the operating instructions and comply with any safety guidance provided by staff.
Integral Fitness & Leisure cannot accept responsibility for an injury caused by a member’s misuse of equipment or failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Clothing, Footwear and Gym Bags
For safety reasons, bags are not permitted on the gym floor.
Members must wear appropriate, clean and comfortable exercise clothing and suitable footwear while using the fitness areas.
Jeans, workwear, boots, flip-flops, sandals and other unsuitable clothing or footwear are not permitted.
A member who is not wearing suitable gym attire may be asked to leave the fitness area.
Towels and Cleaning Equipment
As a courtesy to other members, members should carry a small gym towel and use it to wipe down equipment before and after use.
As part of our sustainability initiative and commitment to a greener future, paper towels may not be provided.
Members should use any cleaning or sanitising materials made available by the club.
Lockers and Personal Belongings
Lockers may only be used for the duration of a member’s visit.
Lockers must not be used for overnight storage. Lockers may be emptied at the end of each day, and any items found may be transferred to lost property.
Where necessary, padlocks may be removed to gain access to a locker. Integral Fitness & Leisure will not replace padlocks removed for this purpose.
Members are solely responsible for their belongings while visiting Integral Fitness & Leisure.
Integral Fitness & Leisure accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property brought onto or left on the premises, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Members should ensure that their belongings are securely stored in the lockers provided.
Lost Property
Although Integral Fitness & Leisure will make reasonable efforts to return lost property to its owner, it cannot accept responsibility for any item that is lost, stolen or damaged.
Items found on the premises may be retained for up to one week. Any items that remain unclaimed after this period may be disposed of or donated.
Member Conduct
Drunkenness, abusive language, threatening conduct, harassment or aggressive behaviour towards staff, members, visitors or guests is not permitted.
Membership may be suspended or terminated where a member:
- breaches these Rules and Regulations;
- behaves in a manner that poses a risk to themselves or another person;
- acts in a way that is detrimental to the welfare, safety, good order or reputation of the club; or
- behaves abusively or inappropriately towards staff or other members.
Members must not use the gym while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, narcotics, tranquillisers or any medication or substance that could impair their ability to exercise safely.
Integral Fitness & Leisure reserves the right to ask a person to leave the premises where staff reasonably believe that the person is unfit to use the facilities safely.
Integral Fitness & Leisure also reserves the right to refuse access, suspend a membership or terminate a membership in accordance with the membership terms and applicable law.
Health and Safety
All members must comply with reasonable instructions given by Integral Fitness & Leisure staff concerning health and safety, the use of facilities and the smooth operation of the club.
Any member who identifies a health and safety concern must report it to a member of staff immediately.
Members Under 18
Membership is available from the age of 16.
Where a member is under 18, their parent or legal guardian must enter into the membership agreement with the minor and accept responsibility for the minor’s compliance with these Rules and Regulations.
Integral Fitness & Leisure reserves the right to carry out reasonable proof-of-age and identity checks.
Members must cooperate with these checks when requested.

Only personal trainers who are authorised by and work with Integral Fitness & Leisure may provide personal training services on Integral Fitness & Leisure premises.
Unauthorised personal trainers must not train members or non-members at any Integral Fitness & Leisure club.
Only physiotherapists, physical therapists, rehabilitation specialists or other practitioners who hold a valid agreement with Integral Fitness & Leisure may provide treatment, rehabilitation or related services on the premises.
Unauthorised individuals attempting to provide personal training, therapy or rehabilitation services may be asked to leave immediately.
Smoking and Vaping

Repeated or serious misuse of equipment may result in the suspension or termination of membership.
Photography, Filming and Video Calls
Members must not make video calls or take photographs, videos or audio recordings on the premises where another member or staff member may be visible or audible without their consent.
Photography, filming and recording are strictly prohibited in changing rooms, toilets, showers, saunas, steam rooms and other private areas.
Members must not publish photographs, recordings, videos, comments or other material online that identifies another member or staff member without their permission.
These requirements should be read alongside the Integral Fitness & Leisure Filming, Photography and Recording Policy.
Changing Rooms and Accessible Facilities
Changing rooms may close at specified times for security, maintenance or deep cleaning.
Accessible changing and shower facilities will remain available where practicable during these periods.
Members should check locally displayed opening and closing times.
Class Bookings
Members must arrive promptly for the scheduled start of a class.
Late arrivals may be refused entry where admitting them would disrupt the class or create a health and safety risk.
Members are advised to book classes in advance to ensure that a space is available.
Classes may normally be booked up to 72 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.
Where a member can no longer attend a pre-booked class, they should cancel the booking as early as possible through the YourApp Plus app. This allows the place to be offered to another member.
Repeated failure to attend booked classes without cancelling may result in restrictions being placed on future bookings.
Acceptance of the Membership Terms
By accessing an Integral Fitness & Leisure club or using its equipment and facilities, members confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to comply with:
- the membership terms and conditions;
- these Rules and Regulations;
- the Code of Conduct; and

Members’ use of the Gym is subject to these rules, the membership agreement and any additional rules displayed at the relevant club.

Members must continue to monitor their health and suitability to exercise throughout their membership.
A member should stop exercising immediately and seek appropriate assistance if they experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, faintness or any other unusual symptoms.
Members must inform staff of any relevant health condition where doing so is reasonably necessary for their safety or the safety of others.

- their deliberate or negligent conduct;
- their misuse of equipment or facilities;
- their breach of these Rules and Regulations; or
